Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 21 September 2026
1. About these terms
These terms apply whenever you request a quote from, or engage, Global Tax Experts ("we", "us", "our") for company formation, accounts, brand design or writing services. By submitting a quote request or instructing us to proceed with a service, you agree to these terms.
2. Our services
Global Tax Experts coordinates four specialisms: company formation, accounts and bookkeeping, brand and design, and professional writing (including CV, content and business plan writing). Some services are delivered directly by us and others by qualified UK accountants, designers or writers working with us, under the coordination of your named Client Manager.
3. Quotes and pricing
Quotes are prepared based on the information you give us and are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. Where a service involves official government fees (for example, Companies House filing fees), these are itemised separately from our own charges. No work begins, and no payment is taken, until you've approved a written quote.
4. Your responsibilities
You agree to give us accurate and complete information needed to carry out the service, and to respond to reasonable requests for information in good time. Delays caused by incomplete or incorrect information may affect timescales, and in the case of company formation, filings depend on Companies House's own processing times and approval, which are outside our control.
5. Payment
Fees are as set out in your approved quote and are invoiced as agreed at the time (for example, upfront, on completion, or in stages for larger projects). Late payment may result in work being paused until outstanding invoices are settled.
6. Cancellations
You can cancel a service before work has started for a full refund of any amount paid, minus any non-refundable third-party or government fees already incurred on your behalf. Once work is underway, we'll agree a fair refund for any part not yet delivered, on a case-by-case basis.
7. Intellectual property
Once a project is paid for in full, ownership of the final deliverables (such as artwork, written content or designs produced specifically for you) transfers to you. We may keep working copies for our own records. Any third-party assets used (such as licensed stock imagery or fonts) remain subject to their own licence terms.
8. CV, content and writing services
Our writing services are intended to present your experience, business or content clearly and professionally. We do not guarantee specific outcomes such as job interviews, offers, search rankings or sales, as these depend on factors outside our control.
9. Liability
We aim to deliver every service to a professional standard, but we do not accept liability for indirect or consequential losses, or for outcomes that depend on third parties such as Companies House, HMRC or search engines. Nothing in these terms limits liability for things that can't legally be limited, such as fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence.
10. Confidentiality
We treat information you share with us as confidential, and only share it with the specific accountants, designers or writers needed to deliver your service, as set out in our Privacy Policy.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Continuing to use our services after an update means you accept the revised terms.
